Worshiping the KING OF GLORY Walking in the Reflection of His Light Lift up your heads, O gates, And lift them up, O ancient doors, That the King of glory may come in! Psalm 24:9 ~~~~~~~~ Strategic Target for today: Manifest Glory Let us set this week aside to honor and worship our King. He has done magnificent things in our nation over the past few months. He has brought us into deeper places of intimacy and love. He alone is our constant focus and desire. As we worship the LORD, let us come into a greater understanding the meaning of the different word forms for worship. Let us praise the Names of God throughout this week of Worship, remembering Judah, “Praise” always goes first before the presence of the LORD is manifest. Adonai (Lord, Master) Genesis 18:3 Yahweh (Lord, Jehovah) Genesis 2:7 Jah - (The LORD) Psalm 68:4 ~~~~~~~~~~ aineo ahee-neh' (134) to offer praise, extol (the noun ainos speaks of "praise") Almost exclusively used for praise of God. Aineo used almost exclusively by Luke, in Luke and Acts. Only in Rom 15:11 and Rev. 19:5 otherwise. Luke 2:13 a multitude of the heavenly host praising God; 24:53 in the temple, praising and blessing God; Rev. 19:5 Give praise to our God, all you his bond-servants, you who fear Him, the small and the great. epaineo ep-ahee-neh'o (1867) to commend, laud, praise, to approve. In classical Greek means "to approve, sanction, to praise, give a public mark of esteem." Used 5 times in NT. Luke 16:8 "And his master praised (commended) the unrighteous steward; Romans 15:11 "Praise the Lord all you Gentiles" (the only time in relation to God) and 1 Cor. 11:2 "Now I praise you because you remember me in everything and hold firmly to the traditions. More of a secular use. proskuneo (pros-koo-neh'-o) to worship. The word itself means to prostrate oneself in homage, to stoop, or to crouch, fall down and worship, show reverence to. (Shachah in Hebrew closely related) The noun, proskunetes (pros-koo-nay-tace') means worshipper or adorer. Formally proskuneo is from the preposition pros "to" and kuneo "to kiss." ~~~~~~~~ Hineni!… Behold! Here I AM, doing this thing! JESUS FOCUSED, JESUS CENTERED, JESUS NOW! Jehovah Jireh (The Lord Will Provide) Genesis 22:14 Jehovah Shalom (The Lord Is Peace) Judges 6:24 Jehovah Sabaoth (The Lord of Hosts) 1 Samuel 1:3 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ halal haw-lal' (1984) Praise, extol. To be clear, to shine, to make a show, to boast to be clamorously foolish; to rave, to celebrate. In Hebrew the summons to praise is usually in the plural - hallelu. Composed of 2 elements: the 2nd pers. pl. masc, imperative piel of the root halal, which in the piel means "to praise;" and the abbreviated form of the divine Name yah. Combined with the short form of Yahweh - yah - this is where we get the word "Hallelujah!" hallelu-jah = "Bright foolish praise to the Great I Am!" (Alleluia is the same - the Hebrew "h" is a ' in Hebrew, pronounced as an "h.") Used 24 times in this form. Ps. 22:22 I will tell of Thy name to my brethren; in the midst of the assembly I will halal Thee. Not just in my prayer room, but I will shout and act clamorously foolish declaring thy name in the midst of the congregation. You want to bring Him on the scene? Praise Him! He inhabits those praises. Praise (halal) with dancing - Ps. 149:3; with music - Ps. 150:1-5; with a song - Ps. 69:31 [Say with halal – 13 times) ~~~~~~~~ Hineni!… Behold! Assignment Entering Into Position The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. Matthew 6:22 Strategic Targets for today: Walking focused on our “spiritual Berlin” - THE ASSIGNMENT Winter is a time God’s people can fully focus on closer walks with God, being totally sold out to a single focus. In a miraculous “wake-up” call, intercessors came together, united in what became the 24/7 National Strategic Prayer Call Line on November 11th, three days after our National Elections. A unique time in history began when for the first time in history, technology afforded an opportunity to come together 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Even through the busy time of Christmas, intercessors from all Christian faith backgrounds, many socio and racial backgrounds remained together to pray for the life of this nation. In 170 days, we have become one. We have fought weariness. We have persevered. We have become sensitive to who our enemies are, those within (like doubt) and those without (like those that are determined to take the life of the unborn). We have asked God to identify enemies and open our eyes to withstand everything that would distract this formidable army of watchmen. Spring and Summer lies before us. American’s summer-time activities can be an enemy to prayer and focus. We have to ask this question. If we were Jacob wrestling the angel through the night, what time of the night or morning would it be now? If we were Moses holding up the rod for the battle against the Amalekites, where would we be in the process of the battle? If we saw “D-Day” as election day where we fought for the beach-head, and if since then, we have been fighting for our spiritual Berlin - where would we be at this point? It is spring-time and most of us have yards and gardens which have to be tended, but our assignment in the months ahead is to stay focused as good soldiers in the battle we have committed ourselves too. When we said; “Yes-Lord”, it wasn’t just as long as it was convenient. It wasn’t, just until spring comes and it is more convenient to do other things. As we transition in the days ahead, let us stay single minded, focused on our objective, committed to our assignment! **Pray God keep us single-minded, committed to this battle. **Pray God continue to show each of us in greater ways “how” to step into our callings, and how to shake the bushes of our city’s churches at home to identify and enlist greater prayer activity. **Pray the church of America wake up **Pray our Intercessors stay true to our call and assignments Walking in the Reflection of His Light We have been offering ourselves willing to Father God in Hineni. NOW HE IS, as our “Covenant GOD”, answering us back in this stronger form of Hineni…”Behold! Here I AM, doing this thing! Authority Entering Into Position “So the LORD said to Moses, “Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and Lay your hand on him; and have him stand before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation, and commission him in their sight. You shall put some of your authority on him, in order that all the congregation of the sons of Israel may obey him.” Numbers 20:18-20 Strategic Targets for today: Authority is an often misunderstood concept, even within those who are called to positions of authority. The scriptures teach us that there is one ultimate authority in both heaven and earth, that being THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY. We also see accounts of divinely delegated authority as mentioned above. There are appointments to authority over specific areas or matters. There is delegated and earned authority. We all walk in a measure of authority and we are all subject to a greater authority then ourselves. Within our family unit, within the Body of Christ and within our governmental structure, authority is found in all these areas. How we react and respond to authority determines our level of and ability to walk in authority! As the LORD is shifting and resetting our mindsets, we are recovering the true nature of Godly Ordained Authority within the Body of Christ. God is resetting the Apostolic and Prophetic order back into alignment with the fulness of the Five-Fold ministry to and through the Church of Jesus Christ. As we are set in order, and alignment with God’s original intent for this Body, we will need adjustments in our understanding of Divinely Ordained authority. Much wisdom and discernment is needed as there was even at work within the First Century Church the False Apostolic movement. Ask Father God for revelation, discernment and wisdom before submitting yourself or your congregation to any authority. Remember the importance of Alignment at this time separating the wheat from the chaff, then submit completely to the Holy Spirit for direction! Walking in the Reflection of His Light We have been offering ourselves willing to Father God in Hineni. NOW HE IS, as our “Covenant GOD”, answering us back in this stronger form of Hineni…”Behold! Here I AM, doing this thing! Watch for the covenant moments with God the remainder of this month, as HE IS DOING A NEW THING!. ~~~~~~~~ Please READ EACH SCRIPTURE one at a time, expounding on it, drawing on the revelation being made! They are classified as unincorporated territories. They are organized, self-governing territories with locally elected governors and territorial legislatures. Each also elects a non-voting member (or resident commissioner) to the U.S. House of Representatives. Eleven territories are small islands, atolls and reefs, spread across the Caribbean and Pacific, with no native or permanent populations. These are Palmyra Atoll, Baker Island, Howland Island, Jarvis Island, Johnston Atoll, Kingman Reef, Midway Islands, Bajo Nuevo Bank, Navassa Island, Serranilla Bank and Wake Island, which are claimed by the United States under the Guano Islands Act of 1856. The status of some are disputed by Colombia, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Nicaragua, and theMarshall Islands. The Palmyra Atoll is the only territory currently incorporated. Historically, territories were created to govern newly acquired land while the borders of the United States were still evolving. Most territories eventually attained statehood. Other territories administered by the United States went on to become independent countries, such as the Philippines, Micronesia, Marshall Islands and Palau.
